Job Summary

INTERCHANGE OUTER EAST 38 HOURS A WEEK MONDAY- FRIDAY.

BASED IN FERNTREE GULLY LILYDALE & BORONIA

The preferred commencement date for this role is Tuesday 7th April.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an organised values-driven Small Groups Coordinator to coordinate and deliver inclusive community-based small group programs for adult NDIS participants.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing program coordination leadership and administration. The focus is on delivering safe inclusive and engaging group supports for young people with disabilities.

We are also open to considering this role as a secondment opportunity for the right candidate.

This role would include:

  • Coordinating and overseeing inclusive small group programs aligned with participant goals preferences and NDIS funding requirements.
  • Planning program timetables and activities and monitoring participant engagement and outcomes.
  • Supporting participants in safe inclusive and engaging environments that promote choice and participation.
  • Providing day-to-day guidance and support to program staff placement students and volunteers.
  • Supporting recruitment onboarding and supervision of staff involved in group programs.
  • Maintaining open and respectful communication with participants and families.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external providers to support service delivery
  • Managing rosters in line with SCHADS Award requirements.
  • Ensuring program documentation participant records and support information are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinating billing invoicing and program budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Contributing to audits reporting service evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Participating in an on-call roster periodically throughout the year.

  • A Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • In addition to the safety screening the successful applicant will be required to undertake the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
