What does a successful Manager of Transportation and Logistics do

At Fiserv the Manager of Transportation and Logistics ensures the efficient movement of goods and materials aligning with our mission to meet client expectations and operational excellence. What you will do:

• Supervise and manage the Transportation team overseeing daily truck operations
• Review and address driver events recorded by camera systems
• Manage truck maintenance vendors coordinating scheduled and emergency maintenance and recommend truck replacements
• Oversee fuel vendors and reconcile fuel invoices
• Supervise and manage the Distribution Center team overseeing daily receiving and pulling operations
• Monitor inventory accuracy

What you will need to have:

• 6 years of experience with daily truck operations in a logistics environment
• 2 years of previous management experience
• 2 years of experience ensuring DOT compliance and handling Unified Carrier Registration fees
• 24-hour availability for coverage

What would be great to have:

• A high school diploma equivalent work or a combination of work education and military experience
• Experience in transportation and logistics management
• Experience with Material Management Systems
• Experience managing inventory accuracy and fulfillment operations

Important info about this role:

• You will work an assigned schedule of 1st shift Mon-Fri
• Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
• You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including but not limited to F-1 (OPT CPT STEM) H-1B H-2 or TN or any candidate requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this role
