Employment Coach

TheEmployment Coachprimarily provides job coaching and retention services to an assigned group of people working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver wrap-around supports that help people with disabilitiesretainemployment and improve work skills. The Employment Coach may also provide transportation to and from work and must meet the qualifications of a direct support professional (DSP) and complete all requiredtrainings.

The ideal candidatewill be a team player who responds to changes and crises in a calm and productive manner with a demonstrated ability to provide support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of persons served. They will communicate ina timelyand professional manner with persons served their families coworkers managers employers and other stakeholders. Basic computer skills and proven ability to use MS Word Outlook and other technology tools used to support people with disabilitiesisrequired.

This position requiresa High School diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience working with people with disabilities. ABachelorsdegree andpast experienceworking in workforce development programs is a plus. A valid Maryland Drivers License with no egregious violations and no more than 2 points isrequired. Candidates must also be able to complete all required Fello and DDAtrainings.
