Haymarket Media Inc. is seeking aMultimedia Internto join theContent Hubteam. This position is located in our New York office with three days on-site (Tuesdays Wednesdays and a team flex day) and two days remote.

Job Overview:

The Multimedia Intern assists the Senior Producer editorial custom and social media teams in creating visual and audio assets for Haymarkets Business Media Group (BMG) brands. As part of a small high-output division the intern will help plan record engineer and edit audio and video content. This role is ideal for a proactive student seeking hands-on production experience and the opportunity to contribute to a high volume of professional media content.

Responsibilities:

• Support the production of podcast episodes in both audio and video formats for BMG editorial releases and custom client projects.

• Edit and repurpose long-form content into high-impact video clips optimized for social media platforms and YouTube.

• Assist with recording sessions by setting up microphones and mixers and managing digital recording platforms such as .

• Execute post-production tasks including assembling episodes cleaning up audio tracks and performing basic audio repair.

• Utilize AI-assisted production tools to streamline workflows.

• Maintain content trackers and production logs to ensure all project statuses schedules and deadlines are accurate and up to date.

• Assist with scheduling and publishing ads within podcast hosting platforms to ensure the timely delivery of promotional content.

Skills Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education:Currently pursuing a degree in Multimedia Film/Video Communications or a related field.

• Podcasting Interest:A strong interest in the entire podcasting lifecycle(from guest coordination to post-production) and content promotion via social media.

• Software Proficiency:Basic experience with Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Audition or relevant multitrack editing software.

• Audio Skills:Familiarity with setting up microphones and a basic understanding of audio repair (e.g. noise reduction leveling).

• AI Tool Integration:Interest in using emerging AI tools for transcription audio enhancement or content repurposing.

• Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for interacting professionally with B2B guests hosts and internal teams.

What We Offer:

• Location: New York City

• Salary: $17.00/hr.

• Start Date/ Duration: June 15 2026 to August 14 2026 (9 weeks)

• Schedule: 32 hours a week; hybrid onsite schedule; Summer Fridays
