Are you a compassionate leader with expertise in special needs planning Achieva Family Trust is seeking a Trust Administration Supervisor to lead a team of dedicated Trust this pivotal role you will balance high-level supervision with direct advocacy helping families navigate the complexities of special needs trusts to ensure individuals with disabilities lead lives of personal significance.

Position Summary

The Trust Administration Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership guidance and training to the Trust Administration team while managing a personal caseload of beneficiaries. This role involves extensive collaboration with families attorneys and community partners to provide education on special needs trusts. You will ensure all disbursement requests and beneficiary documentations are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards. Reports to the Director of Trust Administration.


Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Provide supervision and training to Trust Administrators; review fund requests and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain regular contact with beneficiaries and stakeholders; document detailed case notes and maintain accurate files.
  • Beneficiary Support: Assess needs for support services particularly for complex cases and identify how trust funds can supplement government benefits to enhance quality of life.
  • Disbursement Oversight: Review and process beneficiary disbursement requests to ensure appropriateness and regulatory compliance.
  • Community Outreach: Meet with families and professionals to provide information on establishing special needs trusts; develop collaborative relationships with community partners.
  • Advocacy & Planning: Participate in planning meetings with support agencies to develop comprehensive person-centered support plans.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends best practices and regulatory developments in special needs trust administration.
  • Stipend Eligibility: Availability by cell phone for work purposes is required (cell phone stipend eligible).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Job duties may change at any time with or without notice.



Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Trust Administration experience required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computerized databases word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Must be able to pass required background checks including Act 33 Act 34 and FBI clearances.
