Haymarket Media Inc. is seeking aLegal Internto join the Legalteam. This position is located in ourNew York NYoffice with three days on-site (Tuesdays Wednesdays and a team flex day) and two days remote.

Job Overview:

Assist the legal department on a wide variety of matters focusing on contracts data privacy data security confidentiality digital advertising and marketing content licensing employment and intellectual property law issues

Responsibilities:

• Assist with reviewing and drafting contracts (e.g. Data Use Agreements MSAs MNDAs SOWs Licensing Events and Marketing Agreements)

• Perform legal research

• Prepare detailed analysis memos particularly as related to data privacy issues

• Assist with trademark portfolio management conduct trademark searches assist with drafting trademark clearance reports assist with preparing trademark filings

• Assist with updating and creating corporate policies

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience/working knowledge of contracts trademarks copyrights issues. Knowledge in advertising employment technology or data privacy laws issues is a plus

• Strong legal research skills and proficiency in legal research tools (e.g. Westlaw Lexis etc)

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently be comfortable in a collaborative environment and with pivoting on matters as needs change

• Strong organizational analytical and communication skills (written and verbal) and work ethics

• Proficiency in use of computers G Suite MS Office Suite

Qualifications include:

• 2L - 3L students preferred

• Authorized to work in the U.S

• Familiarity with with data privacy laws; Familiarity with advertising laws and regulations (FTC FCC TCPA etc) are a plus

What We Offer:

• Location: NYC office

• Salary: $20/hr.

• Start Date/ Duration: June 15 2026 to August 14 2026 (9 weeks)

• Schedule: 32 hours a week; hybrid onsite schedule; Summer Fridays
