Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CU Anschutz is seeking a Senior Instructor to join our Community Practice Division providing inpatient OB/GYN care at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. This full-time (1.0 FTE) position appointed through the CU Anschutz Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology works on-site at Highlands Ranch.

You will manage obstetric and gynecologic patients perform surgeries support established OB practices and care for walk-in or non-assigned patients. Join a collaborative team-oriented environment with opportunities for engagement in departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 coverage for laboring patients including high-risk pregnancies triage labor management and postpartum care.

Manage obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage preeclampsia/ eclampsia shoulder dystocia and operative deliveries.

Facilitate smooth communication and rapid decision-making during critical events.

Support a positive safe and efficient unit culture.

Promote evidence-based practices and continuous skill development.

Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Highlands Ranch CO

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN

Active and unrestricted Colorado Medical License

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

One (1) year of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency

Experience in high volume/high-risk obstetrics

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Labor Management: Knowledge of normal and high-risk labor progress

Fetal Monitoring: Proficiency in fetal heart rate interpretation

OB Emergency Care

Patient Safety and Quality Standards

Procedural Competence

Clear and effective communication and documentation

Professionalism and Compassion

Conditions of Employment:

Successful completion of institutional credentialing and privileging requirements including eligibility to practice at affiliated hospitals and clinical sites and maintaining those credentials in good standing.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$280000.00 to $300000.00

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
