Job Summary
| Position Role: Absence Recovery Warrant Officer (ARWO) within the JMC AOR. Responsibilities: 1. Facilitating the contact and return of AWOL soldiers within the regional area to their units. 2. Engage with AWOL soldiers their family friends and partners to gain their trust in resolving the problems of the AWOL soldier. 3. Liaise and work closely with RMP Civil Police and CofC in dealing with AWOL soldiers. 4. Working with AWS/UWO in addressing welfare problems and connecting soldiers to appropriate agencies. 5. Explain objectively the consequences of the AWOL soldiers actions to all associated parties. 6. Represent service interests within the local communities in the JMC AOR. 7. Where capacity permits the ARWO will assist SO2 discipline with the management and staffing of Service Complaints. 8. BPT SUPPORT and DELIVER on other projects as directed by the CofC. |
