Project Manager AI/ML Initiatives
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in countries with Apple Store access e.g. Philippines South Africa)
Compensation: (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience)
- Philippines: $2000$3000/month
- South Africa: $2500$3500/month

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive highly organized Project Manager with a strong technical foundation in AI/ML to help lead high-impact projects for clients across multiple industries. This person will serve as the operational heartbeat between engineering design and client stakeholdersensuring initiatives stay on track and aligned with project goals.
You must understand the nuances of AI and ML technologies including open and closed-source models prompt engineering and real-world deployment considerations for LLM-powered systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional AI/ML projects from inception through delivery
- Translate client requirements into actionable project plans with clear timelines deliverables and dependencies
- Work closely with engineers designers and product leads to manage sprint planning retrospectives and daily stand-ups
- Track progress using tools like Linear Notion or Jira ensuring on-time on-budget execution
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks communicate blockers and proactively manage stakeholder expectations
- Manage multiple projects in parallel often with overlapping teams and deliverables
- Contribute to process improvements and team rituals that drive speed clarity and quality
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience managing technical projects ideally in AI/ML data science or SaaS environments
- Solid understanding of concepts such as AI agents conversational AI LLMs and open vs. closed-source models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced remote environments
- Proficiency in modern project management tools (Linear Notion Trello etc.)
- Comfort working autonomously with globally distributed teams
- Bonus: Based in a country with access to an Apple store (preferred due to potential hardware upgrades)
