We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team at our Corporate office in Nashville TN. This supervisory role involves mentoring junior developers and overseeing the development of data analytics solutions.

**HYBRID: 4-DAYS OFFICE / 1 REMOTE**

What you will do as a Senior BI Developer:

Design build and maintain enterprise data models in the data warehouse using curated analytics-ready views as the primary semantic layer for reporting
Develop and optimize complex SQL stored procedures and views that serve as the authoritative semantic layer for reporting tools and improve single procedure reporting queries and stored procedures to support data transformation and reporting needs
Design and implement ETL or ELT data pipelines using SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS) selecting the appropriate approach based on data source performance and architectural standards
Build enterprise data analytics models using MS Power BI and integrate them with SSIS-based ETL processes
Perform advanced root cause analysis with problem-solving for data discrepancies performance issues and business intelligence solutions.
Develop publish and schedule reports dashboards and SSIS packages to fulfill business requirements efficiently.
Create self-service models and data analytics solutions utilizing the Power BI service.
Ensure data solutions are scalable secure governed and aligned with enterprise data architecture standards
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional needs and data requirements into well-structured optimized data models
Mentor junior BI developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data literacy and reporting capabilities across the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in in Computer Science Information Technology Business Analytics or a related field required.
5 years of experience in business intelligence development data analytics or data engineering
Strong expertise in SQL development including stored procedures query optimization and performance tuning
Experience using Power BI as a visualization layer over centralized warehouse-managed enterprise data models
Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools such as SSIS
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including Power BI Desktop Power BI Report Builder Power BI Report Server and DAX Studio
Experience in integrating Power BI with ERP systems (P21 SAP or similar)
Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse architecture
Excellent written and oral communication skills-clear concise and effective
Excellent customer service and people skills
Strong critical thinking skills a must
