Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care RN to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in Monroe MI and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized in-home healthcare services to support patients well-being and recovery ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to care plans and physician orders.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patients health status reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Document all nursing interventions accurately and timely in compliance with agency policies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license to practice in Michigan.
- Previous home care or community health nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Monroe and surrounding areas.
- CPR certification required.
