Job Summary

We are representing a leading manufacturer and supplier of various steel products based in Penang Malaysia.

They specialize in - Manufacturing sheet metal products supplying scaffolding & deal in various steel products like pipes and plates complementing their core business activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity within the production department.
Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets reduce cost per unit eliminate errors and deliver excellent customer service.
Oversee production scheduling capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands.
Accountable for manpower headcount planning and equipment & machinery efficiency achieved its optimal level of its set goals or targets.
Coordinate with various teams including manufacturing maintenance quality control and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
The Operations Manager (OM) shall be responsible for organizing managing and execute short and long-term Production and Equipment Preventive Maintenance plans and strategy.
Ability immediate action and to resolve any quality or delivery issue within a shortest possible time to multi-task flexible interacts well and works closely with the other department for taking
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulation throughout the production process.
Manage strong and sound budgetary control to ensure the Plant Operations Division in the Head Office its branches and subsidiary-companies stay ahead of its financial position.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in any relevant field.
Min 5 years of experience in Operation/ Production with 3 years in a managerial role.
Candidate from Steel or Sheet Metal background will be added advantage.
Good communication skill in English & Mandarin (Due to business nature).

Working hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6.00pm)
