Our team is passionate person-centred and driven by strong values. As we continue to grow we are looking for an experienced and motivated People & Culture Advisor to join our team.

About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the People and Culture team with generalist HR and recruitment functions of My Guardian. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building strong teams supporting managers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

This is an on-site permanent role based in Sydney Olympic Park.

Key Responsibilities

Generalist HR

  • Provide advice and support to managers and staff on HR policies procedures and employee relations matters

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding performance management and offboarding

  • Assist with policy development and compliance with employment legislation

  • Support performance improvement processes and workplace investigations where required

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems

  • Contribute to People & Culture initiatives that enhance engagement and retention

Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across the organisation

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs

  • Draft and post job advertisements

  • Screen applications conduct interviews and coordinate reference checks

  • Build talent pipelines to support organisational growth

  • Support onboarding to ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition

About You

  • Experience in Human Resources and Recruitment (2 years preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Experience within the disability aged care or community services sector is desirable

  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources
