About My Guardian

Our team is passionate person-centred and driven by strong values. As we continue to grow we are looking for an experienced and motivated People & Culture Advisor to join our team.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the People and Culture team with generalist HR and recruitment functions of My Guardian. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building strong teams supporting managers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
This is an on-site permanent role based in Sydney Olympic Park.
Key Responsibilities
Generalist HR
Provide advice and support to managers and staff on HR policies procedures and employee relations matters
Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding performance management and offboarding
Assist with policy development and compliance with employment legislation
Support performance improvement processes and workplace investigations where required
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
Contribute to People & Culture initiatives that enhance engagement and retention
Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across the organisation
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs
Draft and post job advertisements
Screen applications conduct interviews and coordinate reference checks
Build talent pipelines to support organisational growth
Support onboarding to ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition
About You
Experience in Human Resources and Recruitment (2 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience within the disability aged care or community services sector is desirable
Relevant qualification in Human Resources
