The Contractor shall coordinate consolidate develop and maintain environmental governance and programmatic documents (e.g. Department of Gov Customer Instruction policies procedures); action plan(s) recommendations; task and inquiry responses; and issue resolution action plan(s) under program management oversight. Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating consolidating developing and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g. slides after action reports minutes). Perform program analysis support the planning development and sustainment of environmental programs and collaborate across the Customer and with other DOW agencies in support of program efforts and mission requirements. Follow new regulatory and policy development on Emerging Contaminants and collaborate with departments and stakeholders on developing and articulating appropriate positions and actions. Collaborate and coordinate with other organizations and support to develop guidance for the field and oversee implementation.
Prepare slides BBPs or other documentation in support of working groups congressional data calls staffer day briefings and environmental programs or issues. Assist with taskers in ETMS2.
Requirements- Secret Clearance (fully adjudicated)
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 10 years experience in environmental program management within the DoW (DAF preferred) and development of environmental programs policies guidance regulations
- 10 years experience in one or more of the following areas within a DoW office (in priority of order):
- Wildland fire
- POM Advocacy/Budget Development
- Conservation Law Enforcement
- Natural Resources
- Cultural Resources
- Operational Range Assessment
Recommended Qualifications- Local to DMV area
- Experience with ETMS2
- Congressional experience
- 10 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Air Quality
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Overseas spill reporting tanks integrated solid waste management (ISWM) stormwater management
- Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste
- Bachelors degree in one of the following areas or in a related technical field:
- Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Environmental Policy
- Environmental Science
