IT SECURITY ENGINEER Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) will be a subject matter expert and final escalation point for cybersecurity events applyinganalytical expertise andtechnical knowledge of networks and systems to protect the Institutes digital infrastructure. Will independently investigate diagnose and resolve sophisticated security issues from phishing and threat analysis to incident response and prevention.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum offive years of experience in cybersecurity information systems oranother related field understanding ofemail systems common phishingtechniquesand experience analyzing raw email headers in text format understanding ofnetworkingconceptssuch as network segmentation and isolation routing client-server communicationsARP DHCP TCP/IP UDPDNS HTTP/SRDP SSH FTPetc; understanding ofsystem administration conceptssuch asoperating system patching and lifecycle scheduled tasksadministration of services and common log typessuch as syslogjsonM365 message trace IDP logs and Windows Security lineon Windows MacOS and Linux; and familiarity with software engineering and application development concepts such asdllsand shared objectlibrariesmemory allocation and abusepackagingand dependencies etc.
