Manufacturing Engineers learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. You will develop manufacturing engineering skills an understanding of manufacturing (cost quality safety and schedule) and Raytheon systems and tools. Mechanical Engineers build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.

What You Will Do

Design control and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
Improve cycle time and lead time
Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Perform hardware defect analysis
Design and fabricate Test Fixtures and Test Stations
Experience taking complex measurements with different measurement tools
Develop Test Fixture and Test Station drawing packages

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically Requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
1 years of experience in Test Fixture design and drawing package development
1 years of experience in AutoCAD or equivalent software

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in manufacturing and troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies
Experience with technical writing
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance analysis
Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
Experience with project execution

- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
