Job Summary

Job Description

Position Summary: Oil spill response and vessel compliance specialist. Work with team members and clients to support client vessels day to day operations in U.S. waters and world-wide trade performing regulatory required
filings and liaising with vessel Captains and client points of contact as well
as a myriad of Federal State and local officials to support vessel
operations incident response and compliance with the regulations.

Responsible for day-to-day administrative duties and supporting
operations for regulatory compliance for commercial client vessel fleet(s)
including processing electronic Notice of Arrival/Departure and Cargo
Manifest filing (ACE/AMS). Respond to oil pollution and vessel casualties
on behalf of client as required. Position includes participation in after
hours duty rotation.

This can be a remote position but candidates must reside in California

Qualifications:

Previous Maritime Industry / USCG experience minimum 5 years experience is preferred; Marine Science Technician with Response experience is highly preferred.
Candidates with undergraduate or advanced degree will be attractive; and
Training or certifications relevant to the maritime sector will be a bonus.
Functional knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Functional knowledge of various regulatory regime frameworks and models such as CWA OPA90 USCG EPA VGP OSHA Ballast Compliance ACE/AMS eNOA ECA MARPOL Annex I-VI AK CA WA State requirements IMO

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $100000 - $120000. This range reflects Acrisures good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications location and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration team leadership and cross-functional partnership.
