Job Summary

The GBS expert plays a crucial role in supporting and executing a cross-functional multi-year global program aimed at scaling TVHs Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. Partnering closely with the Global Business Services Manager this role plans and coordinates the expansion of global functions within the GCC ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned and fostering sustainable growth.

Success in this position requires building and maintaining strong relationships across diverse functional teamsboth locally and globallywhile promoting trust collaboration and cultural sensitivity to enhance business outcomes. The role also works closely with the GCC Director and local leadership teams to execute initiatives that support the GCCs growth including change management and communication activities throughout the expansion journey.

The GBS expert collaborates with the GBS Manager GCC Director leadership team HR Director APAC GCC SteerCo functional leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

As part of a global organization the role involves both domestic and international travel to TVH locations as required to meet program objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Expansion management:

  • Collaborate with the GCC Director and GBS Manager on different aspects of growing the Global Capability Centre (GCC). Maintain and update documentation including plans schedules meeting minutes and status reports.

  • Partner with the HR Director APAC and HR Manager on people related aspects to ensure alignment with the HR plan.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on expansion initiatives best practices and strategic insights to ensure successful execution.

  • Monitor progress towards business plans highlight potential risks or issues and support timely resolution.

  • Develop and distribute communications to both local and global stakeholders.

  • Define requirements and support the successful implementation of functional expansion plans.

  • Prepare and deliver status reports and presentations.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings SteerCo sessions workshops and related events.

  • Track action items follow up on progress and ensure timely completion.

Communication and Change management:

  • Partner with the GCC Director and HR Manager to design and execute change management and communication initiatives that support the GCCs growth.

  • Assist the GBS Manager in preparing global change management and communication deliverables to ensure clear timely and effective messaging across all stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the planning and rollout of communication strategies that foster engagement transparency and alignment during expansion activities.

Strategic mindset and Complex problem solving:

  • Foster a forward-looking mindset that anticipates challenges and enables sustainable solutions aligned with GCC growth objectives.

  • Contribute to identifying and addressing critical roadblocks that could impact project success and timelines partnering closely with the business to drive resolution.

  • Support the execution of GCCs initiatives/projects.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities through proactive planning early risk identification and effective mitigation strategies.

  • Bring a strategic mindset to all initiatives ensuring decisions and actions are aligned with long-term organizational culture and goals and global priorities.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Build a strong network and foster meaningful relationships with local functional management teams to provide the GBS Manager and GCC Director with valuable insights enhancing cultural sensitivity and driving alignment across diverse geographies.

  • Support the development and implementation of innovative solutions by facilitating effective teamwork across functions.

  • Develop and enhance multi-site relationships with international stakeholders and reporting lines through strong communication cultural sensitivity and achieving shared objectives across geographical and cultural boundaries.

  • Maintain positive long-term relationships with international partner sites to ensure ongoing collaboration.

  • Promote a culture of mutual respect trust and collaboration across global teams.

Data and insights:

  • Generate accurate reports and perform data analysis to support decision-making and project execution.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify trends risks and opportunities that strengthen GCC growth initiatives.

PROFILE

Knowledge Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration project management or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Previous experience within a Global Capability Centre Knowledge or Information hub is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a project coordination or administrative support role.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be fluent in English..

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software is desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders in different locations. You successfully manage change and are able to adapt based on changing needs.

  • You have a solution-oriented proactive approach and take responsibility.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Experience working in a global or multinational environment is a plus.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with the project team direct Leader sponsor and stakeholders some of whom reside in a different international location.
