Join our team as a Category Buyer (remote) and play a key role in driving efficient compliant and strategic procurement operations across our organization. Were looking for a detailoriented professional who excels at supplier management crossfunctional collaboration and continuous improvement.

The role

• Purchase Order Management: Oversee the entire purchase order lifecycle from requisition to receipt ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Policy & Compliance Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with corporate policies regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams including Planning Inventory and Supply Chain to align procurement activities with operational goals.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers monitor performance and address issues to maintain continuity of supply.

• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve supplier-related issues promptly escalating complex matters to management as necessary.

• RFP/RFQ Process Management: Support the preparation issuance and evaluation of RFPs/RFQs to secure the best terms and value from suppliers.

• Category Management Support: Assist in developing and managing category strategies that align with business objectives including cost savings and risk mitigation.

• Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain teams to optimize procurement processes streamline logistics and improve efficiency.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for decision-making.

• Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.

What You Bring:

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

Demonstrated experience in procurement particularly in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in comprehending operational processes customer needs and product technicalities.

Skilled in multitasking prioritizing tasks and maintaining precision.

Knowledge of sustainability practices

Effective communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration and problem solving

ERP experience managing procurement and supply chain processes (IFS advantageous but not essential).

Familiarity with lean methodologies could be advantageous.

Willingness to travel as required.
