We are looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing SRE function. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to move beyond traditional system administration and into reliability engineering observability and automation.
You will work closely with senior SREs DevOps engineers and software teams to help ensure our platforms are reliable observable and resilient while learning industry best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in monitoring and maintaining production systems across cloud environments
Help investigate incidents and participate in post-incident reviews
Support observability tooling (metrics logs traces) primarily using New Relic
Assist with alert tuning and validation
Help document systems run books and operational procedures
Contribute to automation scripts and small infrastructure improvements
Learn how to identify early warning signs before incidents impact users
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic understanding of Linux systems
Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS Azure or GCP)
Basic scripting skills (Bash Python or similar)
Understanding of HTTP networking fundamentals and system performance basics
Interest in reliability monitoring and automation
Willingness to learn and take feedback
NICE TO HAVE
Exposure to monitoring tools (New Relic Prometheus CloudWatch etc.)
Basic knowledge of Docker or container concepts
Some experience with CI/CD pipelines
Basic understanding of incident response concepts

Knowledge of foreign languages:
