Job Summary: The Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients delivering safe evidence-based care while supporting patients and families in a high-acuity critical care environment.

Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric ICU patients using the nursing process.
Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
Administer medications IV therapies and blood products as ordered.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans.
Educate and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications
AHA BLS.
AHA PALS.

License
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through NYSED.
