Work Setting: Hospital-based Cardiovascular Laboratory
The Cardiovascular Lab Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role collaborates closely with physicians and the cardiovascular team to ensure safe high-quality care before during and after procedures while supporting operational efficiency and patient safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Lab.

Monitor assess and document patient condition including physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient status and any changes in condition.

Prepare procedure rooms ensuring equipment functionality readiness and availability of required supplies.

Obtain and manage supplies for individual cases and support inventory and equipment maintenance.

Ensure the Cardiovascular Lab environment meets procedural and patient care standards.

Address psychosocial physical and general aspects of patient care related to the surgical and procedural environment.

Monitor and record patient condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab.

Participate in performance improvement quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification (must maintain current status).

Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting (ICU).

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
