This position provides quality nursing care to both in and out patients in the Radiology Department.

Skills utilized in the position include assessment communication teaching leadership and management of patient nursing care within Diagnostic radiology Special procedures Fluoroscopy Computed Tomography Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine Mammography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Must be qualified and prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure.

This position is also responsible for the development of clinical protocols policies and procedures governing radiological interventional procedures patient monitoring and drug administration.

Must be familiar with patients bill of rights and seek assistance from other resources when needed to ensure individualized care.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirement description :
  • 2 years of current Critical Care ICU ER or PACU experience - Required
  • EPIC experience - Required
  • Interventional Radiology experience but will consider experience in Conscious/Moderate Sedation - PREFERRED
  • Previous Travel - Preferred
  • ALL MEDICAL ITEMS FOR COMPLIANCE MUST BE COLLECTED/COMPLETED within 5 days of offer acceptance
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need STRONGLY REQUIRED
  • Perm address must be included in profile
  • Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
