Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong functional testing experience to ensure the quality and reliability of applications across environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing API validation and database testing with basic familiarity in Azure-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional regression and integration testing across web and API-based applications.
Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test scenarios test cases and test data.
Execute test cases and document test results defects and observations clearly.
Perform API testing using Postman to validate request/response structures and data integrity.
Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure consistency across systems.
Log track and retest defects using test management and defect tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with developers product owners and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Support testing activities in Azure-based environments (basic familiarity is sufficient).
Participate in test planning test execution and release sign-off activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
Good working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience with QMetry or any test management tool.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure environments.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
