Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level MicroStrategy / BI Platform Administrator to support security modernization and performance of enterprise Business Intelligence platforms for CareFirst BCBS.

This role is not a developer or analyst position - it is a hands-on platform administrator responsible for availability performance automation security and cloud modernization of MicroStrategy environments integrated with AWS and Power BI.

The ideal candidate brings strong MicroStrategy administration AWS cloud integration Linux/Unix operations and BI reporting platform ownership experience in hybrid and cloud-first architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

MicroStrategy Administration

5 years administering MicroStrategy platforms (Admin support not development).

Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture and tools (Developer Object Manager Command Manager Workstation).

BI & Reporting Platforms

5 years Power BI administration (workspaces automation report delivery).

Focus on BI Reporting platform ownership not report development.

Cloud & Automation

Experience with AWS services including QuickSight EKS Redshift Aurora.

Hands-on automation with Ansible Terraform Python shell scripting.

Systems & Databases

Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.

Proficiency with SQL / PL-SQL.

Operations & Support

Excellent troubleshooting monitoring debugging and communication skills.

Experience supporting production enterprise platforms.

Must Have

MicroStrategy CMC experience.

AWS OR MicroStrategy certifications.

Healthcare domain experience (not mandatory).

Candidate Profile
