Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for a long-term onsite engagement in New York. This role focuses on industrial automation PLC programming simulation and integration of mechanical and robotic systems within manufacturing and material handling environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong Siemens PLC expertise hands-on simulation experience and a solid mechanical background to support complex automation projects.

Required Skills & Experience

5 10 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Process Simulate software.
5 10 years of experience with Siemens PLC programming and controls engineering.
Strong background in CAD tools and mechanical systems.
Minor experience: Exposure to FANUC robotics (programming integration or maintenance).
Experience working in industrial automation manufacturing or material handling environments.
Ability to work fully onsite and support commissioning activities.
Experience with system commissioning and startup activities.
Knowledge of industrial networks and automation standards.
Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
