Job Summary

Job Title: Maintenance Assistants (Assembler)

Location: Patterson Louisiana 70392

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $18 $19 per hour

Shift & Hours

Shift: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Rotating weekends included
Overtime may be required

Role Overview

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products troubleshooting issues and ensuring high-quality workmanship across all product lines in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble components across all product lines using correct tools and fixtures
Test assembled products and troubleshoot any assembly or testing issues
Read and interpret blueprints and identify mechanical components
Use hand tools rework techniques and operate relevant equipment
Measure dimension and set tolerances for mechanical parts and assemblies
Create accurate labor records for all transactions
Apply manufacturing system principles to support continuous improvement

Experience & Skills

Required

Minimum 2 years of assembly experience
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Consistency and reliability in a production environment

Preferred

Experience in the drilling equipment industry
Forklift or overhead crane experience

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Work Environment

Shop / manufacturing environment
Steel-toe boots required
PPE such as coveralls provided by employer
