ROLE: Software QA Engineer
Location- Atlanta GA
Duration : Contract
Position Summary
The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality reliable and compliant software solutions across enterprise applications. This role partners closely with Product Development and DevOps teams to validate functional and non-functional requirements drive test automation and provide transparency into quality metrics to support release readiness and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design execute and maintain test strategies covering functional integration interoperability data validation performance and security requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers developers DevOps and business stakeholders to ensure clear requirements traceability and release readiness.
- Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Collect analyze and report QA metrics to senior leadership including defect trends test execution progress and quality KPIs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning backlog refinement retrospectives) and adapt QA practices across Agile (SCRUM SAFe Kanban) and Waterfall delivery models as needed.
- Ensure QA artifacts and deliverables meet organizational standards for compliance reliability and audit readiness.
- Identify quality risks early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies to improve overall product stability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Tosca Selenium or Appium.
- 3 years of experience working in Agile development environments (SCRUM SAFe Kanban).
- Strong understanding of SDLC STLC and defect lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce application testing.
- Certifications in Tosca Micro Focus UFT or other recognized test automation tools.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-driven quality practices.
