Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Beauty Therapy professionals We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our Hair & Beauty department on a fixedterm basis. You will play a key role in delivering highquality teaching pastoral support and assessment helping learners develop their skills confidence and career aspirations.
The role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team contribute to highquality curriculum delivery and maintain strong industry links to ensure learners receive a current relevant and engaging experience.
This is a parttime position for 2930 hours per week worked over four days. We are open to offering flexibility which can be discussed with the manager during interview.
Actual Salary: 27600.64- 34935.60per annum(29 hours) and 28552.39- 36140.28 per annum (30 hours)
Essential Criteria
- A relevant Beauty Therapyrelated degree or equivalent qualification.
- Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.
- Experience embedding Functional Skills English and/or maths within lessons.
- Excellent communication organisational and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality teaching learning and assessment across Beauty Therapy programmes.
- Act as a course tutor providing pastoral support and monitoring attendance behaviour and progress.
- Plan and deliver innovative inclusive lessons using a range of teaching strategies and digital technologies.
- Maintain accurate records including lesson plans schemes of work assessments eILPs and eregisters.
- Contribute to curriculum development course reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in marketing activities such as Open Days and promotional events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues industry partners and support teams to enhance learner outcomes.
- Promote safeguarding equality diversity and British Values throughout all teaching and support activity.
