Supporting and assisting Management with: Handling administrative tasks and supervising and controlling driver activities Briefing / debriefing of Drivers (loading and off loading) Able to Schedule loads Tacho and trip sheet analysis and dispatching vehicles monitoring progress and utilization Handling administrative tasks and supervising and controlling driver activities
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Logistics/ Transportation Management or studying towards is an advantage Operational experience Administration 2 years experience in the Transport industry Hands-on involvement in all areas of the business Problem solving abilitiesSkills and Knowledge Excellent communication skills on all levels Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team Valid code 14 drivers license Analytical pro-active organised innovative Computer literate (MS Office and Outlook)
An opportunity has become available for Dispatcher to take full responsibility of the overall function of the despatch function. To plan coordinate and manage daily operations in the department such that work is performed effectively by those accountable and tasks are executed timeously and effectively.
