Job Summary
Job Description Summary
Design of capacitor stack rack equipment solutions to satisfy customer specific applications. Designs to comply with IEEE and/or IEC standards as well as customer specifications. Solutions may include integration with switches reactors arresters PTs and CTs.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications and create proposed solutions including cost estimates and proposal drawings.
- Interact with the customer and marketing to resolve questions and issues related to generating a proposed solution.
- Process requisitions create drawings and bill of materials for manufacturing.
- Submit final drawings and instruction books to the customer.
- Work with production control to co-ordinate order priority new and/or special items and identify long lead items.
- Work with the manufacturing to resolve manufacturing quality and process issues.
- Participate on business productivity teams.
- Work with marketing and quality teams on customer issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering in an accredited university
- Proficiency with Solid Modeling software
Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good mechanical aptitude
