Assists the coordination of daily clinical operations and the planning evaluation and implementation of program services. Manages and evaluates staff ensuring quality patient care and compliance with standards and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with the daily operations of the department including policies and procedures budget management recruitment and other administrative tasks.
- Participates in departmental planning marketing and implementation of new programs. Assists with coordination of departmental performance improvement activities.
- Performs the clinical duties of department staff effectively interacting with patients families health care teams and supervised staff.
- Serves as an advocate and liaison for department in committees and meetings and with internal and external groups.
- Supervises department staff providing clinical leadership and expertise and ensuring compliance with performance standards and external regulatory agencies. Assist with the training and continuing education of staff.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in related field required.
Licensure Requirement:
- State of Ohio Licensure in Occupational Therapy required.
