Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs duties related to preparing linen for use in the hospital including inventory maintenance folding exchange cart preparation and delivery.
- May assist in separating soiled linens and inspecting them for defects and removing debris.
- Follows infection control and universal precaution procedures. Loads linens into machines and distributes when clean.
- Maintains assigned work areas and supplies.
- Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read write and follow instructions.
- The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stoop bend and twist.
