RUTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLSVACANCY Work-Based Learning Teacher-RHSWe seek an experienced energetic Work-Based Learning Teacher to serve Rutland High Schools WBL teacher is responsible for the development coordination implementation and evaluation of a range of work-based learning experiences that occur both inside and outside the school. It is the WBL Coordinators duty to support students and employers in planning and implementing safe effective and authentic learning experiences. A background in Business education school counseling or related fields is helpful. This position requires a dynamic individual to coordinate various work-based learning experiences at the high school level. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with community mentors promote the work-based learning program to various stakeholders teach pre-employment and work readiness skills and assist students with resources and postsecondary planning. The candidate should also have strong communication skills and knowledge of work-based learning guidelines. Very importantly we are seeking an individual who can enter into a collaborative partnership with colleagues willing to play an active role in a professional learning community to support the education of all is a unique community in both its location and spirit offering people all the amenities of a city while minutes away from the heart of the Green Mountains.
