Join Midas STERLING as a VA State Inspector and Emissions Inspector where you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle safety and environmental compliance. We are looking for passionate professionals to deliver exceptional inspection services in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure adherence to Virginia state regulations.
- Perform emissions testing and diagnostics ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and provide clear reports to customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding inspection findings and necessary repairs.
- Stay updated on state inspection laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Valid Virginia State Inspector and Emissions Inspector licenses are required.
- Proven experience in vehicle inspection and emissions testing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and inspection equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends if necessary.
