Direct Hire: Full-Time
Location: The Woodlands TX
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary:$75000-$95000 based on experience
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10000 available
- Optional overtime available not required
- Newly renovated modern imaging environment
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts per week Monday-Friday
- One Saturday per month clinic closes at 1:30 PM
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to support high-quality breast imaging services in an outpatient clinical setting. This full-time role is ideal for a technologist who values technical precision patient comfort and professional growth within a collaborative and modern imaging environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Graduate of an approved Mammography Technology program
Licenses and Certifications
- Current Texas MRT license or temporary MRT license
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Experience Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to safely lift assist and position patients with appropriate team support
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to image quality and patient safety
- Demonstrated professionalism accountability collaboration and compassion
- Ability to integrate organizational values into patient team and community interactions
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging exams in compliance with radiation safety standards
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining exams positioning accurately and ensuring comfort
- Select appropriate imaging techniques to ensure optimal diagnostic quality
- Enter monitor and maintain accurate patient information and exam data
- Conduct quality assurance testing on mammography equipment
- Assist with accreditation processes including initial and renewal applications
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions patient concerns incidents or complaints
- Participate in departmental emergency call rotation
- Maintain a safe environment for patients staff and visitors
- Adhere to departmental policies productivity expectations and quality standards
- Complete required continuing education and competency assessments
- Support departmental goals and serve as a mentor or preceptor to less experienced staff
