Job Description

I have a client in the Houston TX area actively looking to add a Land Survey CAD Technician / Survey Tech to their team. This role is OFFICE BASED and requires AutoCAD experience specific to land surveying. Candidates must have hands-on EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING COMMERCIAL LAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. Hours are 7am - 4pm (Monday through Friday) and is a TEMP TO POSSIBLE PERM ROLE.

What theyre looking for:

Minimum 3 years of land survey drafting experience
Strong AutoCAD background tied directly to land surveying
Experience with commercial projects is critical

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Drafting topographic surveys
Boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys
Platting and planning support
Elevation certificates
Construction staking drawings and calculations
Experience supporting construction services (building corners utilities power pole staking etc.)
