This is an opportunity to lead the design of new products and take them from initial conception to fully manufactured object providing engineering input to all aspects of design and manufacture.

Required

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
3-6 years experience in a product development role
Strong design skills in Solidworks or similar
Experience with DFM and FMEA processes
Understanding of manufacturing processes specifically: moulding/casting machining electronic systems
Experience with test system design
Experience with requirements analysis and pre-compliance testing

Highly desirable:

Experience with sealing systems to high intrusion prevention specifications
Compliance certification
Experience in supplier negotiation and quality management
Project management skills using agile processes

Work on developing new products for a prominent Australian company developing products for consumer and office use.
