Location: The Learning Experience Cascade MI
Pay: $16$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday 9:00 AM6:00 PM
- Support the Lead Preschool Teacher in maintaining a safe engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Assist with daily routines including learning centers transitions meals rest time and end-of-day activities
- Engage children in play-based learning early literacy art music and hands-on activities
- Support positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development
- Help prepare the classroom for closing ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Communicate positively with families during pick-up and through daily updates
- Follow all health safety and Michigan childcare licensing requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth classroom operations during closing hours
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preschool daycare or childcare experience preferred
- CDA or early childhood coursework a plus not required
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable patient and comfortable working a consistent closing shift
