TheAssociateQuality Assurance(QA)Analyst role writes test plans performs test execution and tracks defects using the defined QA tools processes andmethodology. TheAssociateQA Analyst applies analytical and problem-solving skills to helpvalidateprocesses through careful testingin order tomaximizeproduct quality and value delivery.

*This role will be Hybrid (2-days a week in office) if you are located within 50 miles of our Corporate Offices in either Mendota Heights MN or Loveland -person attendance is expected to foster collaboration innovation and team connection. This role is also eligible for hire if you are located in Effingham IL. It is required that you live in one of those 3 listed locations.

Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. To requesta reasonableaccommodation notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position.

  • Adhere to established Patterson QA standards for Quality Assurance Process andMethodology.

  • Collaborate with team membersincluding Software Engineersand Product Ownersregardingfeature design.

  • Analyze design documents to create test plans.

  • Create quality test plan documentation that can be reviewed andutilizedbyother QA.

  • Execute test scenarios using existing documentation.

  • Create and execute test plans and scripts that willdetermineoptimalapplication performance according to specifications in partnership withteam members.

  • Perform issue trackingreportingand resolution of issues found during testing.

  • Provide regular status as directed throughout the release cycle to theappropriate leadershipand development team members.

  • Provide support forescalated incident tickets to resolve application and software issues.

  • For regulated productsfollowsregulatory requirements for software development/testing and provide needed documentation.

AdditionalFunctions

In addition to the essential functions listedabove the incumbent may perform the followingadditionalfunctions.

  • Participate in regulatory and compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Associatedegree with emphasis on Computer Science IT or related QA field or equivalent software experience

  • Experience with desktop webcloudor mobile applications

  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize

  • Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with emphasis on Computer Science IT or related QA field or equivalent software experience

  • Experience in quality assurance and testing applications

  • Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps

  • Knowledge of SQL scripting practices

The compensation range for this role is below.

$25/hr - $33/hr

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market) experience and skills.

$26.73 - $34.74
