Job Spec

Mosaic is looking for a AVP Cyber Claims. The ideal candidate will be located in New York NY.

Key Responsibilities

Experience handling first-party and third-party claims preferably both primary and excess
Evaluate information on coverage liability and damages to determine extent of exposure to insured and company
Directly and closely monitor assignments to experts and counsel
Provide outstanding customer service and build longstanding relationships with insureds brokers and partners
Communicate coverage positions to insureds
Set and monitor reserves within authority
Report to reinsurers and other insurance partners
Support business leaders on an as-needed basis on claims and underwriting-related issues
Attendance at mediations and trials as necessary

Skills Experience and Education

2 years of experience as a cyber claims adjuster (Lloyds experience a plus)
Knowledge of industry best practices and systems
Strong relational skills particularly in adverse or high-pressure situations
Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; ability to deal with customers and business partners in professional manner
Ability to make prompt intelligent decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues
Start-up nature of company necessitates willingness to adapt as needed to help team
