Reporting to: SVP Sales Strategy & Services
Direct Reports: starting with 2-3 plus 5-6 indirect reports
Location: any US hub office (Boston Seattle Scottsdale San Francisco Denver)
Travel expectations: ad-hoc travel to meet companies under acquisition proceedings

Your Impact

As Head of M&A Integration you will ensure Axons acquisitions integrate smoothly while continuing to drive growth and momentum. Reporting directly to David you will lead post-merger integration strategy and execution across the company aligning cross-functional teams to deliver clear outcomes with speed and minimal disruption.
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution bringing structure judgment and confidence to leaders and acquired companies throughout the integration lifecycle.

What Youll Do

  • Lead end-to-end post-merger integration for acquisitions from pre-close planning through execution and stabilization.
  • Establish and operate a scalable Integration Management Office (IMO) that translates deal strategy into clear executable integration plans.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and executive leadership to align integration priorities with Axons strategic growth objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional integration execution across Finance HR IT Product Sales Legal Operations and other key functions.
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for integration planning sequencing and progress ensuring timelines and commitments are met.
  • Design and continuously refine Axons integration operating model including governance cadence and decision-making frameworks to maximize speed and clarity.
  • Ensure Day 1 readiness and continuity of operations for acquired businesses customers and partners.
  • Identify assess and mitigate integration risks proactively resolving issues that could impact performance momentum or employee retention.
  • Continuously improve integration playbooks tools and best practices based on lessons learned and evolving business needs.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional post-merger integrations in high-growth or acquisitive environments.
  • Background in COO-type operational leadership roles ideally within smaller or scaling tech companies
  • Experience in private equity venture-backed or portfolio company environments
  • Broad business acumen across finance operations systems go-to-market and people functions with the ability to connect details to outcomes.
  • Sound judgment in balancing speed rigor and flexibility in ambiguous fast-moving environments.
  • High organizational discipline and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining a clear big-picture perspective.
  • Executive-level communication skills including the ability to surface risks frame tradeoffs and drive decisions.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level function training transferable skills work experience business needs geographic market and often a combination of all these factors.
