Niyam is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies with a strong background in mobile and web application development to support one of our federal clients. This is a hybrid position where person will be required to go onsite to client location in Ashburn VA at least 2 days/week.

You will work with the following tech stack; Angular Spring Boot Flutter Kubernetes Gradle iOS & Android (Native) Firebase and the following languages; Dart Java JavaScript/TypeScript Swift Postgres SQL Groovy HTML/CSS Tool Command Language (TCL).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Write clean scalable and efficient code using modern development practices.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
Maintain code quality through unit testing automation and peer reviews.
Participate in Agile/Scrum-based development cycles.
Ensure performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

US Citizenship with ability to obtain a public trust.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Must be able to work onsite at client location in Ashburn VA as needed.
8 years of experience in full stack development for web and mobile platforms.
Experience deploying applications in Kubernetes environments.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with Firebase services such as authentication analytics and cloud functions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience working with federal clients.
Active public trust or security clearance.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP or Azure).
Contribution to open-source or personal GitHub projects.
