The Role:
The Payroll Specialistoccupies a critical role as part of our Finance Team. Payroll Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing payroll and ensuring that employees are paid accurately. The Payroll Specialist identifies discrepancies that arise during payroll processing and works to resolve them promptly. The Payroll Specialist also ensures that PTO balances are accurate and provides oversight of our the time and attendance system.
In addition you will:
- Review and process time sheets reimbursements manual checks off-cycle payrolls and payroll batches.
- Ensure accuracy of PTO benefits and utilize reporting to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll calculations checks and related policies and procedures.
- Support payroll system training collaborate as needed to improve departmental workflows and prepare payroll department reports.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1 years experience preferably Nursing Home experience.
- Attention to detail basic math skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Able to multitask meet deadlines and adapt in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
Pay: $35 - $38 per hour/ FULL-TIME POSITION
