Griffin Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to lead our finance department at our dealership located inWaukesha WI. This key role requires a goal-driven individual who will work closely with both employees and customers to enhance the sales process mentor and lead the finance team and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions. Youll play a vital role in driving profitability ensuring compliance and fostering a positive family-friendly work environment where you can thrive and grow.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and bridge disconnects in the sales process
- Coach mentor and lead finance staff to achieve top-of-market PVR numbers
- Take finance T.O.s (Turnovers) and assist in closing deals
- Improve bank relations and reduce C.I.T. errors in collaboration with the finance team
- Build rapport with customers to establish a network of referrals
- Sell finance & insurance products to customers
- Maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders
- Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and secure timely funding from finance sources
- Meet monthly objectives and contribute to dealership success
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations while working closely with sales management to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with service advisors when customers are turned over for warranty information
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of auto finance experience required
- Strong work ethic positive attitude and adherence to a strong personal code of ethics
- Proven track record of excellent performance in auto finance
- Career-minded goal-driven and self-motivated
- Team player with excellent leadership skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong computer skills including Internet MS Outlook Dealer track and Route One
- Ability to give proper menu presentations and handle desk deals for sales professionals
- Experience dealing with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives
- Familiarity with tag and title laws and DMV procedures
