Responsibilities
- Actively support field operations working closely with welders technicians and the operations team to ensure efficiency and safety on job sites.
- Assist in preparing and delivering necessary tools equipment and supplies ensuring timely and organized support for field activities.
- Participate in the setup movement and adjustment of equipment under the direction of skilled technicians and welders.
- Perform routine cleaning maintenance and organization tasks for equipment and work areas including steam cleaning and painting as required.
- Manage inventory ensuring that all materials and tools are accounted for and in good condition.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment including beveling machines grinders torches and welding machines with a focus on safety and precision.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of assembly dismantling and transportation of hoists.
- Read interpret and comprehend service manuals and manufactures diagrams.
- Ability to climb as needed. Familiar with wearing harnesses and working at elevated heights.
- Proven ability to organize prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in welding or as a welders helper is preferred with a willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks and responsibilities.
- Physical ability to handle demands such as lifting loading and moving equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other machinery; training will be provided as needed.
- Availability for travel and flexible work schedules including overtime and weekends to support project needs.
