Job Summary

Join our team as a Night Receptionist at our prestigious hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. As the primary point of contact during overnight hours you will ensure a safe smooth and welcoming environment for all guests while delivering warm authentic and unforgettable service.

Were looking for a calm reliable and guest-focused professional with true hospitality DNA to represent our hotel throughout the this role you will ensure an exceptional guest experience from late checkins to early checkouts and everything in between.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests arriving late in the evening or during the night ensuring a warm and reassuring atmosphere
  • Handling checkins and checkouts efficiently including all paperwork payments and system updates
  • Managing night-time guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Supportin our Night Manager with night audits (if needed) and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial and operational reports
  • Monitoring the security of the property conducting walk-throughs and reporting any irregularities
  • Addressing and resolving guest issues promptly maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach
  • Providing information about hotel services transportation options and nearby latenight amenities
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel procedures safety protocols and night-time operational standards

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a Front Office Agent or in a similar role is a plus however a passion for hospitality guest service and eagerness to learn are essential
  • Experience with night shifts would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor - hospitality should be in your DNA :)
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems; Opera or Opera Cloud experience is a plus 
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic accounting and cash handling skills
  • MBO/HBO level of education preferably hotel management or related field
  • Preference for night shifts
