Job Summary
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East Quebec for a 6 month temporary position from Monday to Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the manager you will rotate between several work stations with your colleagues.
What youre responsible for:
- Sort metals according to their physical and mechanical characteristics
- Clean equipment and work areas to ensure smooth operations
- Operate various types of machinery as needed (e.g. forklift Bobcat aerial lift)
- Actively participate in the departments various activities
- Keep your workstation clean at all times
- Work safely and comply with the companys OHS policies and procedures
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You are professional behave safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
- You are physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks such as sorting metals on a table or on the floor.
- You are versatile resourceful and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
- You are willing to work in a dusty noisy industrial environment sometimes outdoors exposed to varying temperatures.
- You are able to wear the required personal protective equipment (mask earplugs goggles helmet coveralls).
- You have knowledge of metals and experience with a forklift (assets).
