The opportunity
We are looking for a Global Tender Support and Contract Management Leader in connection with the global development of Network Control .
The role is to ensure accurate competitive sizing of operational efforts for tenders as well as validate the feasibility of delivery schedules in alignment with Network Control global practices and delivery models. This must be applied consistently across the entire NC/NM portfolio worldwide.
In addition the role is responsible for managing all contractual activities related to the execution of the Network Control business line including the implementation and maintenance of control centers such as SCADA Energy Management Systems (EMS) Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and Generation Management Systems (GMS). It ensures that complex technology and service agreements with customers vendors system integrators and service providers are executed and managed effectively to support operational reliability regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
How youll make an impact
Tender & Proposal Excellence (Pre-Award)
Drive costing rigor challenging assumptions to ensure realistic estimates that protect target margins
Ensure that accurate project schedules staffing plans and risk assessments are established to enable competitive yet executable offers
In collaboration with Supply Chain define optimal delivery models and sourcing strategies
Support bid/no-bid discipline to ensure selective pursuit of winnable profitable opportunities within strategic markets. Continuously improve criteria.
Represent Global Operations in tender review gates ensuring execution feasibility assessment
Contract Management & Compliance (Post-Award)
Maintain a comprehensive repository of all NC-related contracts amendments and agreements (customers and suppliers)
Monitor the entire portfolio of NC customer contracts and establish a whatchlist of contracts with adverse contractual T&Cs
Follow up on all claims for NC customer contracts
Monitor vendor performance and contractual obligations including delivery timelines SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and system availability guarantees.
Risk & Portfolio Contractual Management
Identify risks related to contracts with customers in particularly in terms of T&Cs project schedule technology integration licensing restrictions cybersecurity exposure and vendor dependencies.
Develop and enforce risk-mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations in mission-critical environments.
Support NC Global Operations in the risk management of the NC portfolio
Provide ad-hoc contract management support to critical projects
Liaise and work in cooperation with Hub contract management
Process Improvement
Develop standardized templates and workflow for contracts and for proposals scope/estimates/schedule
Recommend improvements to tender review gates and approval frameworks to ensure only robust well-structured opportunities enter the backlog
Recommend improvements to customer contract vendor management procurement cycles and compliance tracking including technical scope control and ability to claim
Champion adoption of digital tools and AI solutions to optimize bid processes effort estimation contract management and procurement
Team management
Develop and manage a global team of Tender Support specialists
Establish resource planning frameworks to optimize allocation of Tender Support specialists across the bid pipeline
Coach tender teams on commercial structuring risk quantification and contractual positioning
Your Background
Masters degree in Engineering Business Law or equivalent
15 years in complex project management commercial engineering or contract management within B2B industries (energy infrastructure technology)
Proven track record in commercial process transformation and margin improvement
Experience in competitive international markets with complex contractual environments (FIDIC NEC bespoke contracts) and multicultural team leadership
Deep expertise in contract structuring commercial risk analysis and pricing strategies
Mastery of project management frameworks (PMI IPMA) and estimation methodologies
Strong financial modeling and project profitability analysis capabilities
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) portfolio management tools AI-powered solutions and contract lifecycle management platforms
Transformational leadership with ability to drive change in complex matrix organizations
Excellence in communication with ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
Strong commercial judgment with courage to say no to bad opportunities
