Job Summary
We are seeking a Lab Asset Management Metrologist to support qualification calibration and maintenance of analytical instrumentation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications on instruments (HPLC GC KF UVVis HIAC MFI etc.)
Execute scheduled and post-maintenance qualifications and resolve routine calibration issues
Perform priority repairs on user-level components (lamps pumps seals tubing etc.)
Support chromatography data systems (e.g. Empower)
Assist with instrument upgrades testing and troubleshooting
Manage accurate equipment documentation and asset records in GMARS
Track and report instrumentation performance metrics
Coordinate and escort vendors performing maintenance activities
Partner with client teams to support asset management and lab operations
Qualifications :
BS in a life science field 4 years relevant experience or MS 2 years experience
Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation in a GxP environment
Strong technical aptitude communication organization and documentation skills
Ability to work independently multitask and maintain data integrity
Additional Information :
- The position is full-time Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- May be requested to work on weekends overtime and holidays based on business needs.
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis IN are encouraged to apply.
